SLMANA Eastern Region is encouraging all young physicians, medical students, and those in ancillary fields of medicine of Sri Lankan background to join SLMANA. It is not required that the applicant completed any training in Sri Lanka. Residents, Fellows, or physicians who have recently started practicing will find a wealth of support in the resources of SLMANA, and will be a prime forum to network. SLMANA Eastern Region hopes to invigorate the society with new, fresh ideas from the younger physicians, and plan to have social and networking events just for young physicians. So, please join SLMANA and make this important initiative a success.
